Local tech firm ETHIX360 launches cloud-based policy management software

Local compliance solutions provider ETHIX360 rolled out its newest platform, PolicyTrac.
ETHIX60, founded in 2017 by J Rollins and Bob Latchford, provides comprehensive solutions to employee ethics communication, case management, compliance training and policy management. Rollins said the company is looking to disrupt the industry with its new, cloud-based policy management platform.
"PolicyTrac is a highly innovative approach to what has been a very slow-moving market. Historically, many competitors in this space deploy obsolete techniques and technologies that are often overpriced and don’t perform particularly well," he said. "We’ve overcome two of the consistently largest issues companies cite in policy management software — first, it's incredibly expensive; second, it's very hard to implement and a heavy lift from a tech standpoint."
Rollins said company policies are often outdated, difficult to access and slow to be updated. PolicyTrac, he said, gives businesses — especially small to midsize ones — the ability to keep company policies up to date in a fast and manageable way.
In the event of an incident, it allows businesses to use real-time standards by automatically informing investigators of the policy in place at the time an allegation was made. Rollins said this ensures an investigation is unbiased and fair for the employees involved. This also better protects companies from potentially discriminatory conduct.
"We've not only made it very affordable, but we've also made it effective by deploying state-of-the-art tech that makes it easy for employees to understand what’s expected of them, understand the penalty and what to do if their rights are violated," he said. "Coming out of 2020, there was a massive realization of just how fast policy change needs to take place and how effectively you must be able to communicate those changes to your employees."
Rollins said ETHIX360 married PolicyTrac and its existing case management software, CaseTrac, into one platform, making implementation easy.
"We’ve democratized access to highly innovative solutions to legacy problems that were previously unreached," he said. "To add the functionality into their current product, they need to simply reach out to our support team. For many of them there will be little to no cost at all."
In March, the company closed a $3 million Series A funding round, which began last year. It raised a $1 million convertible note last April as part of the round. That money has been used to accelerate sales and marketing efforts and continue to grow the development team.
